Kristian has been working in the Fitness Industry since the 1990’s and he still feels like the luckiest guy in the world that he gets to come to work everyday and help people get stronger, faster, better. Kristian considers himself a life long student of the art and science of athletic performance. He is constantly adding to his arsenal of courses and certifications to bring the best programs and methods to his clients. Kristian is an old school believer that there is no substitute for hard work and mastering the basics. As c0-owner and founder of GYM41 Kristian is committed to creating a positive, supportive and non-judgmental environment.

“Great Trainer. Taught me so much about lifting and getting strong. No one is more committed to getting results than Kristian is." Mark Simmonds, Olympian – Boxing Heavyweight, Commonwealth Games Medalist – Boxing, Heavyweight, Canadian Amateur Boxing Heavyweight Champion.

“Kristian really helped me break through some plateaus in power production … is extremely talented at working with a wide variety of athletic demands." Curtis Moore, Junior World Cup Tack and Field, US Outdoor Track and Field Medalist - Triple Jump, Long Jump, 100 and 200 Meter Sprints.

Matt's passion for lifting grew out of his love for playing football in high school. These combined passions landed him on the University of Guelph varsity football team. That period of time cemented his routine of exercise and he has been lifting weights ever since.  Matt passes along his knowledge and passion through coaching and as co-owner of GYM41. Setting aside time for the gym is a must and you will see Matt at GYM41 most mornings lifting by 6 am.
