How do I come in and see the facility if its a Key Fob access gym?
To tour GYM 41, we have open gym hours every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm-9pm, and every Saturday from 10am-2pm. During these times, our doors are open and front desk will be present to show you around the facility and answer any questions! If these hours don't work for your schedule, you can schedule a day and time to come in for a tour by contacting us at info@gym41.ca or calling 519-574-0987.
Can I train my clients at Gym 41?
Absolutely! We offer a pay per use and a monthly flat fee to outside trainers to train their client out of our facility. Check out our Personal Trainers & Coaches page to learn more.
Where is Gym 41 located?
We are located at 41 Ardelt Place, Kitchener in the Lot 42 building. The nearest intersection is Ottawa and Homer Watson. The entrance is located at the back of the building. Check our Contact Us page for a video.
How much is a membership at Gym 41?
We offer a 12-month contract membership at $65.00/month + HST, with a $25 Key Fob purchase. You can select to pay in full at the time of sign-up or choose a preauthorized monthly payment option. A void cheque or complete PAD form from your bank is required at time of sign up for the monthly payment. All members must purchase their own key fob for $25.00 + HST To sign up for a membership, come into the gym during one of our open gym times (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5-9pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm). During open gym times, you can tour the facility and are entitled to one free workout to test us out and see if we're the right fit for you. Check out our Membership page for more information.
Is there a sign-up fee?
Nope! The only additional fee is the key fob fee which is $25.00 + HST.
Do you offer a trial membership?
Everyone is entitled to one complimentary workout session during our open gym times (every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm-9pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm). Can only be used once, per person (this period does not reset).
Can I get receipts of my payments for work reimbursement?
Yes, we provide receipts of payments for any work-related reimbursements. However, please note that we can only issue receipts to members in TWO 6 MONTH REPORTING PERIODS. These two periods being January 15 and July 15. All request emails must be sent to admin@gym41.ca a week prior to the period cutoff dates.
Is there parking provided?
There is so much free parking at the back and side of the building that it is almost unbelievable.
What type of equipment do you have?
- Olympic lifting platforms and Competition bumper plates - Powerlifting combine racks, deadlift platforms and Competition kilo plates - GHD - Dumbbells up to 100lbs - Full Cable Crossover with Pull down and Row - Heavy bag - Rings - Schwinn spin bikes, treadmills, Stairmaster, and rower - Large assortment of Atlantis and hammer strength equipment - Lots of turf; fully equipped with all the functional training tools
What happens if I lose my Key Fob?
Don't worry! We can replace your key fobs for a $15.00 fee.
Are there lockers, change rooms and water fountains provided?
Yes! There are change rooms and showers, and we have a designated area to store bags, coats and shoes. We do not have towel service. Our water fountain is located just outside of the changerooms.
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! Everyone is entitled to one free workout to check us out if you've never been here before, but after that you can purchase a guest pass for $20 + HST. Guest passes can be purchased during our open gym hours, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm-9pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm. A waiver must be signed.
